Oakley Dental Practice is situated in Oakley Village, near Basingstoke, Hampshire. Our quaint setting overlooks the village duck pond, which is surrounded by thatched cottages. Established in 1980 by Principal Dental Surgeon, Dr Rod Kent, our practice initially served the local community of Oakley and the surrounding areas. Since then, our practice has grown in size and reputation, and now patients travel from Europe and further afield for our special care.
More recently, our practice has been transformed during a full refurbishment. It now boasts three state-of-the-art treatment rooms, as well as a bright, airy reception area. Crucially, it contains a purpose-built instrument decontamination unit, as well as a cutting-edge digital X-ray and computerised tomography scanner. For the convenience of our patients, we offer on-site parking, and parking on the road adjacent to our practice.

Dr. Mehrdad Reyhanifar (Dr. Meddi)

Dr. Meddi qualified as a dentist from Lund University, Sweden in 1997. Since then he has broadened his dental experience over the years working in NHS and private practices. He has a particular interest in oral surgery and implantology. He has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in the fields of advanced implant dentistry and has performed innumerable implants and bone grafts over the past 15 years. He is nearing the end his Masters degree in dental Implantology through Goethe-University of Frankfurt, Gemany. He is a full member of the British Association of Dental Implantology UK.
Meddi lives in Reading, is married and has two sons.
He is a keen golfer, enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, reading and loves dentistry.

Rod Kent qualified as a dentist from Bristol University in 1977. He has over 35 years of experience in dentistry with a special interest in endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and short term adult orthodontics (Six Months Smiles).
Rod lives locally with his partner.
He has varied interests, but currently enjoys fishing, boating, travelling and has a love of motor cycles and cars.

Sarah has worked in dentistry for over 25 years. She started as a dental nurse when she was 17 and then decided to train as a dental hygienist. She qualified in 2014 from Eastman Dental Hospital, London.

Debbie worked many years in management for the NHS before deciding to retrain as a dental nurse. She qualified in 2016. With her managerial qualifications and experience, she doubles as a Dental Nurse/Practice Manager.
Debbie enjoys spending time with family, travelling and visiting historical sites.
Stacey Tiller, Dental Nurse, RDN NEBDN
Stacey joined the practice in 2009, starting out as the practice receptionist. In 2013 she began her training in dental nursing and qualified in June 2014. She has a special interest in Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry.
She enjoys reading, paper cutting crafts and spending time with her family.
Bimala Thapa, Trainee Dental Nurse
Bimala joined us in November 2016. She is currently enrolled on the National Diploma in Dental Nursing course and is working towards a career in dentistry. She loves challenges and spending time with friends. She is always helpful and friendly.
She enjoys travelling, watching films and socialising.
